As good as this hack is, it still carries with it the problem that it invalidates your CSS, as with using any browser-specific experimental CSS.

I usually write my CSS for Firefox/Opera/Webkit, and then with conditional statements load CSS specifically for IE6.

In the IE6 CSS I either reset problematic styles that I have specified in the Firefox/Opera/Webkit CSS, or I just write new styles to over-ride them for IE6.

Quirksmode.org has a good explanation of conditional statements over here - http://www.quirksmode.org/css/condcom.html

On a side note, you\'ve got a nice website and a refreshing layout :)

I'm glad it helped.

I use <a href="http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage" rel="nofollow">IE Tester</a>, which is pretty accurate and convenient way to test all versions of IE.

nice tip here! thanks!

how do you test IE 6, 7 and 8 simultaneously?
is it separate VMs / BrowserLab or something else?
